I work fast, but am meticulous and have never missed a deadline. Qualifications and educationI graduated from the University of Warsaw with an MA degree in English Studies. I attended a 5-month course in the scope of simultaneous and consecutive interpretation at the University of Lodz. In 1994 I passed the Cambridge proficiency (CPE) exam. ExperienceI opened my own business activity and worked as a freelancer for several years. I have also worked two years for two English-language Internet news services: the Polish News Bulletin and New World Publishing Polska (Warsaw Business Journal). Subsequently I was a full-time translator at Citibank for two years (translation of credit reports, banking regulations and procedures, transactional reports, credit agreements, corporate financial analyses) in the Risk Management Division. I was also a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter at conferences, meetings and during customer calls or audits for non-resident senior officers). I still work for Citibank (Treasury Dep.). I am also a contracted translator of a brokerage house - DM PKO BP (Translation of financial reports and analyses of companies floated on the stock exchange, together with recommendations and valuations. Translation of semiannual banking sector and quarterly comprehensive reports (at the pace of 15-20 pages a day)).
